XMP 76P

The XMP76P sub-pack uses XALT’s 43Ah Small Format High Power cells in a 2p24s architecture to provide 7.6kWh total energy. With over 5.5C discharge and 3C charge capability, XMP76P is ideal for applications with high discharge power demands or intense regenerative capture.

XMP 111E

The XMP111E sub-pack uses XALT’s 63Ah Small Format High Energy cells in a 2p24s architecture to provide 11.1kWh total energy. Designed for use with moderate charge and discharge rates (1C and 2C, respectively), XMP111E is ideal for high energy applications requiring long usage periods between on-plug charging.

XMOD 76P

The XMOD76P module uses XALT’s 43Ah power cells in a 2p24s architecture to provide 7.6kWh total energy. Designed for use in applications that may require increased charge and discharge rates with exceptional cycle life.

XMOD 111E

The XMOD111E module uses XALT’s 63Ah Small Format High Energy cells in a 2p24s architecture to provide 11.1kWh total energy. Designed for use with moderate charge and discharge rates (1C and 2C, respectively), XMOD111E is ideal for high energy applications requiring long usage periods between on-plug charging.

Battery Management System

The BMS is the “brains” of the XMP system providing the monitoring, balancing and safety functionality for the system. The main job of the BMS is to maintain the lithium-ion cells within their safe operating range regardless of the demands being placed on them. This means the ability to accurately predict operating situations that have the potential for creating over-voltage or under-voltage conditions, as well as high or low temperature conditions – then reacting quickly and safely to prevent those conditions from occurring.

Battery Controls

The BDU manages individual strings of series-connected XMP subpacks. The MCU manages multiple parallel strings while providing a single and simple interface to the application controller.

XALT Rack System (XRS-2)

The XRS-2 is a highly configurable rack system designed to contain XALT XPAND XMP battery system components for marine applications.
