Electric Buses

Growing urban populations, the emergence of the “Mega City” and high fuel prices have driven significant growth in public transportation. This growth has also led to an increase in smog, pollution and pollution related illnesses in many of these cities. The Electric Bus offers a solution by replacing the traditional internal combustion engine that is most frequently powered by diesel fuel with an electric motor and battery system to provide 100% of the vehicles power needs. With fixed routes and central depot locations to charge, electric buses offer customers a smooth and quiet ride while entirely eliminating smog and pollution and eliminating fuel costs for the operators.


Hybrid Buses

In North American and Europe one of the largest growing segments of public transportation is found in hybridizing the traditional diesel buses. The hybrid bus has the ability to turn off the diesel engine during the frequent stop and go driving and operate the vehicle by battery power alone. And as the vehicle accelerates the engines kick in again and provide the propulsion power. The hybrid bus offers a relatively low cost means of reducing fuel consumption and associated emissions by 25-30% or more.


Medium and Heavy Duty Trucks

Medium and Heavy Duty Trucks range from Class 4 vehicles with Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 14,000 lbs all the way up to Class 7 vehicles with GVWR of 33,000 lbs. These vehicles benefit by the addition of a plug-in hybrid system which will enable reduced fuel costs and, more importantly for service vehicles, the ability to power equipment without running the engine. In these vehicles the battery can operate essentially as an onboard generator.


Delivery Vans

Working day in and day out, electrified delivery vans offer a reliable solution to meeting frequent customer deliveries especially in urban areas where stop and go traffic and frequent stops are the norm. An electric urban delivery fleet offers benefits of reducing fuel costs and meeting Zero Emissions standards which are vital to success.
