Dr. Manev will speak in the Applications Stream – Advances in Automotive Power Applications regarding 12V Start-Stop and 48V Mild Hybrid LMO-LTO Batteries. About Dr. Manev
Dr. Manev has his Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Bulgaria and M.Sc. in Physics from Sofia University. He was Director of R&D at Altairnano for 10 years before joining XALT Energy as a Senior Technical Director. In total, Dr. Manev has over 35 years of experience in lithium cells, lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries. He is also a former professor of Bulgarian Academy of Science, head of its lithium battery department and Vice Director of its Institute of Electrochemical Power Sources. Dr. Manev has published over 100 papers and authored more than 40 patents, most of them in the field of lithium and lithium ion batteries. He has been a member of Scientific Committee, numerous international battery meetings and conferences.
